Trip to Frisco

Last weekend Hadleigh and I went to Frisco to visit Becky and Jorja! It was Becky's 30th birthday so we kind of just made it a girls weekend! Here are just a few snapshots from the weekend. On Friday we went to visit Santa at his workshop! The girls ran around and played everywhere and saw some real live reindeer!

The weekend went pretty well as far as the girls didn't fight too much! Jorja was not really sure how she felt about sharing her toys with Hadleigh, but she did GREAT! It's quite funny seeing them interact! They are so different!

We went to Best Buy and tried to put them in the Kiddie Kart with the wheels where they can "drive". They DID NOT like sitting next to each other! We ended up having to get TWO!

Hadleigh is not afraid to get her hands dirty...she of course, as you have seen before, likes to eat with her hands! She also likes to have a fork or spoon, but most of the time ends up eating with her hand! Becky made King Ranch Chicken for dinner and Hadleigh ate THREE bowls full! Mostly with her hands! Jorja likes to have clean hands. Anytime she would get something on them she would say "wipe"!! So cute!

Jorja listens to her Mommy when she says "no" to something and even caught Hadleigh doing something she was not supposed to and said "no no"! Hadleigh just keeps right on doing what she's doing EVEN when I say no. Selective hearing already!

They both LOVE to take a bath! (pictures to come) It's official now that they are even. They have both POOPED in the tub with each other!

Hadleigh has mastered the art of taunting! She would get one of Jorja's toys and pretend to give it to her and run the other way! She's such a tease! She might turn out to be the CLASS CLOWN!

Up to no good!

Just some things we are doing around here:
We went the Sunday after Thanksgiving to pick out our FIRST real Christmas tree! There was not much to choose from, so we decided to get a 6 ft tall tree and set it up on our coffee table in hopes this would keep the babies out of hands reach! This has ACTUALLY worked very well! We have lost 1 ornament so far and it was an accident!! YEAH!
However after we had this tree for two weeks it DIED!!! and YES YES YES YES I watered it! I followed the instructions that they gave us!
Thanks to my mom, who un-decorated the tree while we were out of town last weekend! Erik took the tree back and exchanged it for an even SADDER looking tree! Not his fault, just nothing to choose from! And I re-decorated it!

Our First Tree

And the Second Tree!

Brushing our teeth! They REALLY like to mostly chew on the tooth brush, but my dentist said that was perfectly ok! I try to "help" them but NO WAY!! So this is what we do! SIT and chew!!

It's CLEAN UP TIME: Haleigh helps out mostly and walks around singing "clean up, clean up"

So I was at Walmart and found these footed pajamas which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!! I think I had a pair and wore them until about the 3rd grade!! They were my favorite and I just think they are too cute on the babies! Although it makes me realize how tall they are getting! I cannot BELIEVE it!!

you will notice that the bumper pad is still on in this photo! However, not too long after this photo was taken Hadleigh was refusing to take a nap, but I was trying to let her "cry it out" b/c I KNEW she was tired! After about 20 minutes I went in to check on her and she immediately stopped crying so I kissed her and told her it was night night time! So about 20 minutes later she is still SCREAMING at the top of her lungs so I go in to check on her and as I am about to round the corner HERE SHE COMES!!! On foot running towards me! YEP you got it! SHE CLIMBED out of her crib!! So needless to say I did take the bumper pad off and she did not get a nap!!

Celebrating some of our new toys!
This one was a hand-me-down from our good friend Mara Petty! OH MY they love their "Elma :aka Elmo" chair! It giggles when they sit in it and they think it is too funny!

yes Hadleigh ALREADY has a shoe fettish! Even the ones that are too big! She loves putting on shoes! One night she REFUSED to take them off and threw the BIGGEST fit, so we just let her sleep in them! And she DID sleep in them ALL NIGHT LONG!!

Our new wagon thanks to A LOT of our friends! For a while we were taking a walk in it EVERY day! THEY LOVE IT!!

Our shopping carts from Aunt Gin! This was a HUGE hit! They love to push them around all over, but mostly Isaac loves to sit in his! This was one of the first things he did when we got it put together thanks to our Anties Becky, Rachel and Anne!!
