October 11-12, Hadleigh and I went to Hardin Simmons Homecoming with some great friends of ours, The Siberts: Jon, Andrea, Brooke and Cameron!
As soon as we got in to Abilene we had to go eat at one of our FAVORITE places! CAHOOTS. Fortunately for Jon, it is now Cahoots and Joe Allen's all in one, so we had Catfish and BBQ!! We stayed at what used to be the Embassy Suites! It was crazy there! Apparently they had some kind of party going on with loud music until after 2 in the morning! Saturday we went over to the school to walk around and the kids played at the Cowpoke Posse play area.

Hardin Simmons has this cool new wall with the names of everyone who have graduated from HSU. You can take a piece of paper and use the purple crayon to get a copy of your name! I found mine and Erik's name...proof that we did graduate!
We met our friends John and Melissa Whitworth at ABUELO's for lunch after the kids were done playing at the Cowpoke playground. It was so yummy! It just so happens that Jon, John and I were actually all ther in the fall of 97 together! SMALL WORLD!! Then we all went to the football game! Hadleigh had so much fun playing with Brooke and Cameron! She was worn out, which was a good thing, b/c we were traveling home after the game was over and she slept the WHOLE way! YEAH!!
