Isaac's new playpen

So Isaac finally figured out how to open the cabinet doors, so we had to move all the glass bowls etc to the top cabinets and give him his own to play in.

Then a week later when Hadleigh decides she will crawl all over the house and follow him around she (of course) does not want to be left out of all the fun! SIBLING RIVALRY has begun!! She gets soooooooo mad when he even comes near her. Before he touches her she is ALREADY screaming!




This is the FIRST time she decided she would hold her bottle on her own! THANK GOODNESS! It's only taken 9 months. PRISSY that's what that is!!

Eventful Weekend

Friday night we went to Sisterdale for our friend Rhett's 5th birthday. Unfortunately my battery died on the camera so I don't have much to show! Our cousin Josh and Aunt Katie came too! Josh had fun bouncing with Sidney! And Isaac had a blast just crawling around EVERYWHERE all night!


Saturday we went to Hamilton so I could shoot a Portrait Party for my good friend Jenny! She had 16 sessions lined up for me!! THANKS JENN!! It was a blast and time went by so fast. Erik and the babies tagged along with me too! They went to their first TEE BALL game to watch Cade and Cash and then just played at Jenny's until I was done. What was Erik doing this whole time you ask? Well apparently he took a "3" hour nap (wink wink) and then went to chase cows with Charles. Well the guys didn't get home until around 8:30 so needless to say it was a late night drive home for us...but we had so much fun! WE MISS YOU GUYS A TON!!!

Our friend Cade is crashed out on the couch after a long day of playing with all the kiddos and Cade is RELAXING listening to his Aunt Carrie's IPOD...which he now thinks he needs!

Sunday we went to watch Daddy play baseball! He is playing "REAL" baseball in a league in San Antonio and he is SOOOOOOOO excited to pitch again! So me and the babies drove to St. Mary's University to watch him play. It was REALLY hot, but I think they had fun!

Our Weekend with Cousin Josh and Aunt Katie

Memaw drove with us to Corpus this past weekend. We went to see our cousin Josh and Aunt Katie. We also got to spend the day with Aunt Tawny and Kya. We had SOOOOO much fun. We got up and went to the Art Festival Downtown in Corpus. It was okay, Josh got to paint a few pictures and then we decided to go to the park.

Aunt Tawny said it was just about a mile away so we decided to walk. All 4 of us with strollers! :) WELL, needless to say this was after lunch and NONE of the babies had a nap yet. By the time we got to the park (LIKE AN HOUR LATER...heeheehee) they were all asleep. BUT, that did not last long.

Josh and Memaw played on the playground and the babies sat on their blankets and played! It was great just hanging out!

That night they all went to bed early!!

The funniest part about the whole weekend was that Isaac followed Josh around EVERYWHERE he went. At one point Isaac pulled up to a standing position holding on to Josh's shirt. Josh did not like this AT all so he tried to get away, but Isaac has a death grip! So basically Josh is pulling him until he finally went to his knees! I was laughing so hard. Josh was not sure what to think about this little rugrat following him around.

Easter

Well our Easter was pretty uneventful! Not a lot you can do with an 8 month old and a 9 month old! But here we are all dressed up for church! We just came home after church, had leftover chili and watched a movie and took a nap. Mema came over in the evening and Erik and I went to dinner at Cracker Barrell and then to Walmart!! Yipeee! What a date!

Tragic Bunny Story

So a two weeks ago on Wednesday I went to Comfort to borrow Kerri's bunnies for the studio. We have used them several times and 2 weeks ago on Thursday Hadleigh stayed home from school so I took her to the studio to have her portraits made in her Easter dress. Of course I was planning on taking Isaac too! Well I didn't do it that weekend because they were both not feeling well. Of course I got busy the next week and on Thursday I was ready to take him in for his portraits. Well, Teri calls me and says one of the bunnies is dead! YIKES!! From what we could tell they had gotten in to some of our silk flowers. They had food and water and we had just cleaned out their cage. So one of Teri's clients discarded of the bunny! So that left us with one. Needless to say I did not take Isaac in for his portraits. Something always comes up! Well I left for the weekend, promising him we would do it on Sunday when I returned. WELL, I got back into town, went by the studio to check on her and she was dead too!! OH NO!! Poor bunnies! I guess she ate the silk flowers too! OOPS! I'm so sorry Rhett! I hope you are not reading this. So in memory of the bunny here are some of her photos!
